After the statutory procedure for the transfer of state-owned assets, Sinobo Group became the ultimate recipient of the 36% equity of Beijing Guoan Football Club Co., Ltd. on June 21, 2021. From now on, Sinobo Group holds 100% equity of Beijing Guoan Football Club, i.e. Beijing FC.
Beijing Guoan Football Club was officially established in 1992, making it the earliest professional football club in China. As a representative of the capital, Beijing, the team has been campaigning in the top league in the country. Sinobo Group completed the capital increase in 2017, and the club was renamed as Beijing Sinobo Guoan Football Club. In March 2021, the club changed its Chinese name back to Beijing Guoan Football Club.
At present, the protective renovation project of the Beijing Workers’ Stadium, the home stadium of the Beijing Guoan Club, has been successfully launched, and various tasks are progressing steadily and orderly.
