After 5 matchdays, Sinobo Guoan Cup 2019, a large-scale international youth tournament for U18 players organised by Beijing Sinobo Guoan FC with the support of Sinobo Group, completed in Beijing Workers' Stadium on 10 June. PSV U18 have won the Sinobo Guoan Cup after a penalty shootout with Brazilian club Cruzeiro. Noni Madueke was named player of the tournament. Nacional and Boca Juniors ranked third and fourth respectively.
Teams from Europe, South America and China were able to showcase their football fans in Beijing.
In addition to the matches, the organising committee also held 2019 Sinobo Guoan Cup International Youth Football Development Forum at Beijing Asia Hotel on 8 June.
Through this tournament, Sinobo Group and Beijing Sinobo Guoan FC wish to help Chinese football with the development of young players and show the country the progress the Chinese youth players already made. Besides, Chinese players can have the experience of top level football with different styles of playing.
