Barrier-free Construction of Taizicheng Aiming for the Top

On 2 April, the representatives of China Disabled Persons’ Federation and the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, went to Zhangjiakou Zone, to investigate the preparations for the Paralympic Winter Games and the work related to disabled people.

The delegation arrived at Taizicheng Chongli at 3pm. Yu Weimin, construction deputy general manager of Sinobo Thaiwoo, gave a detailed introduction to the planning, design and construction of Taizicheng, especially the Medals Plaza for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Subsequently, the representatives of China Disabled Persons’ Federation and the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games held a symposium with all relevant units in the core area of the Winter Olympics in Taizicheng. At the meeting, the officials and experts of the China Disabled Persons' Federation and the Winter Olympics Organizing Committee listened to the report on the barrier-free work of the venues in Zhangjiakou Zone, and put forward requirements and suggestions for related work.
